Fans are questioning a song titled “I DID IT…” that appeared on D4vd’s Apple Music profile over the weekend, wondering whether the release was legitimate or whether someone gained unauthorized access to the singer’s account.

The track surfaced Saturday with cover art featuring an aerial image of D4vd’s impounded Tesla, the same vehicle where the body of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found in September 2025.

The song is reportedly an unreleased demo titled “Celeste” that first leaked online in late 2023 and includes lyrics professing love and adoration for someone by that name, according to NewsNation and the BBC.

There is no confirmation that the “Celeste” mentioned in the song is Hernandez, and the singer, born Anthony Burke, has never publicly acknowledged that the leaked demo is his work, according to the BBC.

The track has since been removed from Apple Music. It remains unclear who uploaded it, and neither D4vd’s representatives nor his legal team have commented on whether the release was authorized or whether the artist’s account was compromised.

This also isn’t the first time D4vd’s streaming profiles have reportedly been targeted. Earlier this month, a song titled “Marcescence” briefly appeared on the singer’s verified Spotify account before it was removed about eight hours later, according to NewsNation and the BBC.

The release comes as Burke’s closely watched preliminary hearing continues in Los Angeles, where prosecutors are working to convince a judge there is enough evidence to move forward with a trial, according to KTLA.

Last week, prosecutors presented disturbing details and images of Hernandez’s decomposed remains, along with testimony from experts, including Los Angeles County Medical Examiner Dr. Grant Ho.

During his testimony, Ho said the teen was likely stabbed twice — once in the chest and once in the abdomen — before her body was dismembered and allegedly cut with a chainsaw, according to KTLA.

Prosecutors allege Burke killed Hernandez after she threatened to expose their relationship, arguing he wanted to protect his music career. They have also introduced iCloud records they say show the pair exchanged text messages and sexually explicit images beginning in 2022, when Hernandez was 11 and Burke was 17.

Burke has pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys have disputed the prosecution’s theory of the case. The preliminary hearing is expected to continue as additional witnesses testify and prosecutors present more evidence.
