Ari Fletcher had a few choice words for DJ Akademiks after he spread gossip about her dating life in one of his recent livestreams, which went viral on social media over the weekend.
What did DJ Akademiks say about Ari Fletcher?
In the video, Akademiks said Jayda Cheaves, rapper Lil Baby’s baby mother, claimed that the influencer and entrepreneur had sex with Lil Baby. He then responded by making inflammatory claims about Ari, according to HotNewHipHop and Bossip.
“Ari f**ks everybody, like come on,” Akademiks said in a clip shared Saturday on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Ari is like community p***y. Everybody f**ks Ari. I’m talking about the popular rappers. Half of Atlanta f**ked Ari. It is what it is.”
Akademiks then mentioned a new man who he alleged had sex with Ari too. “The only question I ask is, ‘He bought her something, or just like f**ked?'”
Ari to Akademiks: ‘You keep defaming my character’
That same day, Ari responded to Akademiks’ claims and threatened to take it “to hell.”
“I want everybody to play very close attention to what I’m about to do to @Akademiks I let yall play for way too long but you KEEP defaming my character. I’m taking it to hell. I hope that streaming money is tucked b***h cause I’m coming!” she wrote in an X post shared by Live Bitez.
Ari also responded to an X user who agreed with Akademiks and said: “Oh the s**t I got for you,” she wrote with three laughing emoji. “Don’t ever think it’s just him. He just KEEP dragging it but it’s 6 of ya’ll. And you are definitely one.”
In the comments, some users criticized Akademiks for his remarks about Ari and defended her, while others agreed with him.
This is not the first time Ari has clapped back at Akademiks over past remarks. He once referred to her as G Herbo’s baby mother. Ari took offense to his comments, stating that while she does have a child with the Chicago-born rapper, she is more than just that title and wanted to be referred to by her name instead, according to HotNewHipHop.
